On console they've added a tutorial for Planet Coaster, but this still is not a good tutorial at all (mainly as the controls are an absolute nightmare, pc is slightly better but still complex). You should be able to play the game and pick up how it works along the way.

I share your gripe with how Frontier handled those things, way too many complex mechanics which actually makes the experience less fun (for me at least). Especially if they are "complex" parkbuilding games with multiple options and modular building pieces. are there easy controls for someone who isnt good at remembering advanced console commands?Ī good tutorial makes or breaks a game in my opinion.

does it have any mechanics that inhibit gameplay like jwe?Ħ. how hard is it to build? and will i be able to lay down pre built buildings if I dont wanna construct from the ground up? (I dont mind if the enclosures arent prebuilt, I like that.)ĥ.

sitting at point blank range from my tv aint an option!)Ĥ. Are the words on screen easy to read? (remember I play on my tv in my living room and sit across the room from it. Is there going to be a simple tutorial?ģ. how hard is it to assign employees to their tasks? (if there are any)Ģ. I want a zoo game that is cool and fun like zoo tycoon but w/o the overcomplication. I'm not incapable of playing zoo games, I know this cuz I made great zoos in zoo tycoon 1 and 2 (not the cheap remake out in stores now) and that was when i was 12.

Planet zoo was a problem cuz there was no step by step tutorial, u had 2 read what felt like a 3,000 page digital manual w/ letters so small u need a microscope 2 c them (I played it on a good sized tv too!), and the controls were designed for rocket scientists! JWE I spent hours trying to contain constant disasters and rampages that raged across my park while pleasing corporate dictators who would sabotage my park if I didnt meet their absurd demands such as "Let a man eating predator out of its enclosure and recapture it b4 it eats anyone." ‘Prehistoric Kingdom’ is developed by ‘Blue Meridian’ and is on Steam.Hi! I was wondering if this is one of those overcomplicated zoo games like planet zoo or jwe. They are also in charge of running the parks sustainably, expanding over time, and also researching and developing new species of prehistoric life to add to the park. Players must build parks to hold the prehistoric animals that have been brought to life through biotechnology, and that can host all the fascinated guests that wish to see the animal life. Players are able to create and destroy mountains, carve rivers through the terrain they have formed, and decide on locations for forests, grasslands, and other habitats in the environments that they create. Vicious carnivorous dinosaurs with rows of sharp teeth. The game allows players to exercise their powers of creativity over both nature and modern construction. ‘ Prehistoric Kingdom’ reaches back into ages gone by and brings back a variety of prehistoric life through the power of genetics and modern biotechnology, placing them in the capable hands of players to manage, grow, and maintain.įor anybody wanting to play with the power to create and destroy on a vast scale, ‘Prehistoric Kingdom’ offers the ideal opportunity. or do they? The idea of giant dinosaurs, woolly mammoths, and a vast host of other animal life that existed in the prehistoric era, is something that has plenty of people wishing for their return…īird-like dinosaurs that eat plants.

Prehistoric animal life is something that fascinates many people, old and young alike.
